Supertel is a budget brand of network equipment belonging to the Taiwanese corporation Zyxel Communications. Zyxel was founded in 1989 in Taipei, Taiwan, and is one of the world's largest manufacturers of network equipment with a presence in more than 150 countries. Supertel is positioned as the most affordable brand in the Zyxel portfolio, created for markets with a low average transaction value.

Supertel brand concept

Supertel was created by Zyxel as an ultra-budget line for markets with a low average transaction value. The concept: take a proven Zyxel platform, simplify the firmware to basic functions, reduce the cost of the case — and get equipment that works reliably without excessive functionality. All devices go through the same quality control as Zyxel's main products and are assembled on the same production lines.
