The MIR state system
In accordance with the order of the President of the Russian Federation dated 04.06.2011 No. 357-rp, FINTECH JSC is designated as the only contractor for orders to perform work on the support, maintenance and development of the departmental segment of the FSB of Russia of the State System for Migration and Registration Records (MIR state system), as well as the manufacture, preparation and control of circulation of identity documents.
As part of the service, installation and commissioning of crypto tools, server equipment, virtualization systems and firewalls are carried out. The work is performed taking into account the requirements of FSTEC of Russia and the FSB of Russia.
Levels of the departmental segment of the FSB of Russia of the MIR state system
The departmental segment of the FSB of Russia of the MIR state system is a complex hierarchical automated system that includes the following levels:
- Upper level — the federal data processing center, which is the head body of the segment;
- Middle level — regional and territorial data processing centers deployed in border directorates, services and detachments, providing integration of border control data, maintenance of databases of persons and vehicles that have crossed the state border;
- Lower level — hardware and software systems deployed in units of border agencies that directly carry out border control at checkpoints across the state border.
Main directions of segment development
- Re-equipment of hardware and software systems at checkpoints with unified modern computing facilities that ensure the automation and optimization of the activities of control staff;
- Transition to advanced technologies that ensure the functioning of the Segment as an automated system in a secure configuration, built using geographically distributed, highly loaded, fault-tolerant data processing centers, with extensive use of virtualization, data storage and backup, and functioning control and management subsystems.
Installation and commissioning of crypto and equipment
Specialists of FINTECH JSC perform a full range of works on installation and commissioning:
- Cryptographic information protection tools (crypto), including hardware and software systems "SKIF-BP";
- Server equipment and data storage systems;
- Virtualization systems for servers and workstations;
- Firewalls and network firewalls;
- Data backup and recovery systems.
