Transport subsystems and network routing for data centers

Transport subsystems and network routing for data centers

Transport subsystems are a set of network equipment, protocols and software tools that ensure data transmission between data center components and external systems. They include routing, switching, VPN tunnels and communication channel protection tools.

FINTECH JSC has developed a unique technology for transferring software (data migration) of existing automated information systems to geographically distributed secure data centers created on the basis of the digital platform SintezM. Our installation and commissioning services ensure seamless integration of network equipment.

Three possible options for software transfer and data migration:

1. Through the exchange of marked-up office documents:

  • in the data center, templates of office documents used in existing AIS are marked up and transferred for filling;
  • in existing AIS, the marked-up templates are filled with data and transmitted to the data center;
  • in the data center, the data contained in the completed documents is automatically transferred to the corresponding databases.

2. Through the use of the information interaction system:

  • the information interaction system as a hardware and software system is deployed at the informatization facility of the existing AIS;
  • the general and general-special software of the data center (including the information fund database) operates in the information interaction system, and the transfer of data formats of existing automated systems to the information interaction system is also ensured;
  • the transfer of data values from existing automated systems to the databases of the information interaction system is carried out;
  • the transfer of data from the information interaction system to the data center is carried out.

3. Through the use of a hardware and software tool for software transfer:

  • a hardware and software tool for transferring software from the existing automated system to the data center is deployed in the data center;
  • the import of software from the existing automated system into the virtualization environment of the software transfer tool is carried out;
  • the export of a virtual machine with the software of the existing automated system to the virtualization environment of the data center is carried out.

Transport subsystems for secure data centers

The third option is the most preferable, since it ensures the full-fledged use of the legacy software of existing automated systems in the unified information space created during the deployment of geographically distributed secure data centers (automated systems), including taking into account the processing of information constituting a state secret.

Network routing and corporate network construction

Transport subsystems and network routing ensure communication between all data center components, including data storage systems for data centers and virtualized server clusters and virtual machines. To protect transmitted data, secure e-mail and cryptographic information protection tools (crypto) are used. Our technical support services provide 24/7 monitoring of network channels.

Transport subsystems ensure the organization of secure communication channels, the construction of VPN tunnels and the routing of network traffic between geographically distributed data center nodes.

Data migration and software transfer to the data center

The listed software transfer options (data migration) do not lead to the decommissioning of previously created systems, but ensure their integration with the data center and other systems.

Secure communication channels and VPN tunnels

For interaction with external AIS in a secure data center, hardware and software systems for interfacing with external systems are provided. We ensure the construction of secure communication channels using certified crypto tools and VPN solutions, which guarantees the confidentiality and integrity of transmitted information.

Key capabilities of transport subsystems:

  • Data migration between data centers without stopping systems
  • Construction of secure VPN tunnels for corporate networks
  • Network traffic routing between geographically distributed nodes
  • Information system integration with external AIS
  • Software transfer to the data center virtualization environment

Integration with other technologies

Transport subsystems form the communication network of a secure data center, linking all components into a single working space. Data storage systems get high-speed access to servers through SAN networks, virtualized server clusters exchange cluster data over dedicated channels, and control and management systems collect logs and telemetry from all network nodes.
