The automated workstation for special document verification (ARM SPD-K) is designed for expert examination of documents, verification of their authenticity and automated recording of verification procedures. The ARM SPD-K is a set of specialized hardware and software for in-depth verification of printing, technological and physical-chemical security features of documents.
Application: border control, security services, law enforcement agencies, banks, consulates, forensic examination units.
The ARM SPD-K includes the equipment necessary for the full cycle of document examination and formation of an opinion on their authenticity: a comparator with a built-in computer, a monitor, a color laser printer. The software runs on the domestically produced secure operating system «SintezM».
A key aspect of the development of the complex is a professional approach to multi-level examination of documents using innovative image acquisition algorithms.
Main functions of the product
- control of specialized technical components during expert examination of security elements of documents and securities;
- examination of documents and their security elements (protection of the document substrate, physical-chemical protection, printing protection, etc.);
- 3D visualization of surfaces of document pages for detailed analysis of the microrelief and security elements;
- scanning of pages of machine-readable passport-visa documents, automatic text recognition and filling of user form fields;
- working with information and reference systems, including those containing descriptions of the verified security elements;
- processing, analysis, comparison and saving of images of document pages and their security elements in the database;
- preparation of user image examination scenarios to reduce the time for solving routine tasks;
- storage and archiving of textual and graphic information obtained during examinations;
- recording of information obtained during examinations onto an optical medium;
- formation of reporting documents reflecting the results of the performed work, with the possibility of printing.
Technical components of the ARM SPD-K
Passport-visa document reader «SPV-7024M.1»
It allows obtaining images of documents in ID-1, ID-2, ID-3 formats in the visible (white), infrared and ultraviolet ranges and is equipped with a module for reading contactless microchips (RFID) integrated into the document.
Video spectral comparator «Regula» 4308
The device is made as a single unit that is permanently installed on the work desk. It is used with the built-in computer and is controlled by the installed «Regula Forensic Studio» software. It allows obtaining, editing and saving digital images of the examined objects.
The video spectral comparator «Regula» 4308 can be used with additional equipment — a tilt table «Regula» 4165. The device allows programmatically setting the tilt angle of the working surface, ensuring fixation of a specific document position, and tracking color/relief changes when displaying security elements such as OVI and KIPP effects.
