From March 5 to 6, 2024, the IX International Scientific and Practical Conference "Far East and Arctic: Sustainable Development-2024" was held in Moscow at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. Previously, this conference was called "Arctic: Sustainable Development" and addressed issues related only to the Arctic, but since part of the territories of the Arctic zone is geographically located in the Far East and is part of the Far Eastern Federal District, in the autumn of 2023 the organizing committee decided to rename the conference and expand the range of issues considered, related not only to the Russian Arctic, but also to the Far East of our country.

The conference program discussed a number of pressing issues related to the Far North regions: development of the Northern Sea Route and its infrastructure, support cities along the Northern Sea Route, organization of northern delivery; transport, housing and social infrastructure; investment and entrepreneurial activity; oil and gas and mining complexes; energy and energy security; environmental safety and waste management; digitalization and telecommunications; introduction of innovations into technological, design and engineering solutions; creating a comfortable urban environment and protecting people's health in the Far North, the Arctic and the Far East; the importance of international cooperation for the sustainable development of the Arctic zone at the present stage and ensuring the security of the northern and far eastern regions of Russia.

For several years now, our company has been actively participating in this large-scale event, offering its developments to solve certain problems.

This year we were invited to the thematic round table "Regional aspects of energy security of the Arctic and Far East regions", organized by the Russian Energy Agency of the Russian Ministry of Energy.

Within the framework of the round table, pressing tasks of ensuring energy security in the northern regions under unprecedented international restrictions were raised, the best regional and corporate practices for ensuring energy security were considered, and developments in the field of forecasting, analysis and risk management were demonstrated.

At the event we presented a report on the topic: "Secure integrated digital platform for critical information infrastructure in the Arctic". Oleg Vladimirovich Shcherbina, Director of Business Development at FINTECH JSC, spoke about the capabilities of our secure digital platform "SintezM", which creates a unified digital ecosystem of an organization (enterprise, department), ensuring guaranteed protection of personal data, confidential information, commercial and state secrets, differentiating user access rights to protected information, thereby solving information security issues in various fields of activity both in the Arctic zone and in any other territories of the Russian Federation.

This conference became a large discussion platform that united professionals from all fields: scientists, state and municipal employees, enterprise managers, specialists in IT technologies, education, healthcare, culture, sports and tourism for large-scale work on the development of the Arctic regions of Russia.
