History of Bluebird

The company was founded in 1995 under the name Bluebird Soft and initially developed software. Since 1998, Bluebird has shifted its focus to the production of hardware solutions and entered the global market under the Pidion brand. In 2013, the company was renamed Bluebird Inc., after which the Pidion brand was integrated into the unified Bluebird product line.

Bluebird is actively developing the SoftPOS and mobile retail analytics segments. Devices of the S20 and EF Pro series target the premium segments of retail, restaurant and hotel business. The company's X40 model received the Red Dot Design Award 2026, confirming the high level of design and engineering solutions.

3. RFID Equipment

Bluebird Technologies

• MIL-STD-810G: a military durability standard ensuring the device operates in extreme conditions (from -30°C to +60°C, under vibrations and drops).
• IP67/IP68: protection against dust and water, allowing the devices to be used in the rain and in dusty environments.
